Our family, like many others are having a BBQ and our friends are stopping by. We will have lots of food and lots of fun, but we will take a moment to be thankful for this day, and what it means. My little girl and I are spending our day at an old-fashioned outdoor gospel sing at our old church. When we moved we missed this tiny little place where we came to worship. Today we will meet with our old friends for the first time in almost a year. What a good time we will have. WHOOOEEEE What a time we have had at the outdoor gospel sing. The weather was beautiful, the music was great and the food was WAY TOO MUCH. I will have to hibernate like a bear now. I think I tried everything they had...and unfortunatly some of those things twice. Wish you could have been there. Hope you did something fun. Yes, we did celebrate what today stands for, with songs and prayers for our military and our country. May God Bless America for the next 100 years. There are many holidays throughout the year that celebrate the armed services. BUT with the way our world is today it wouldn't hurt to stop for a moment EVERYDAY and give thanks and say a special prayer for our military and their families.
